Proxy Proxy was founded by Praise Godswill as the living extension of an idea: that design is not decoration, but discourse. Born from the same engine that powers Proxy Proxy Museum, the store exists to give theory a body — a vessel in which thought moves through fabric, paper, and form.
Every artifact begins as a question. What happens when philosophy wears clothes? When an archive can be held, worn, or lived with? Proxy answers by building tools for living and thinking — garments, books, and objects that function as instruments of attention — devices for perception, built to sharpen how we see, think, and move through the world.
This is not a brand. It is a system of inquiry — a field where meaning is tested, refined, and made tangible. Each release carries the same rigor as an exhibition, each object an active participant in the conversation between idea and use.
